Reverend James Murray 

revmurrayReverend James Murray received his education in Millen. Georgia. He was ordained as a minister on May 12, 1988 at the Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Before becoming affiliated as Pastor of the Shiloh Baptist Church, Reverend Murray served as Pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, Florida and the Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2015, Reverend Murray became Pastor of Brown Chapel Baptist Church in Union Point, Georgia where he currently serves.

Reverend Murray has attended several seminars for pastoral leadership. He enjoys gospel music as well as feasting on the Word of God. In 2012, Reverend Murray served as acting pastor during Reverend Leverett’s hospitalization.

Reverend Murray is married to Shallamar Dupree. They have eight children and several grand and great-grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

Reverend Chris Johnson

RevCJohnsonReverend Chris Johnson, son of the late Reverend J.D. and the late Mrs. Mary Ann Johnson, is a native of Starkville, MS. Accepting Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age afforded him the opportunity to be led by God in Sunday School, Baptist Training Union, Young Usher, and various choirs. After graduating from high school, he attended Jackson State University where he received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and later retiring in January 2014 after a successful career.

In 1996, he received his calling into the ministry under the leadership of Reverend Shawn L. Moton, Marlboro Heights Baptist Church in Killeen TX. He was licensed by Marlboro Heights Baptist Church and ordained while serving at Holman Street Baptist Church in Houston, TX under the leadership of Reverend Manson B. Johnson. Laboring in the vineyard includes Biblical Facilitator, Sunday School Teacher, and Men’s Ministry Spiritual Leader. He currently worships at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Woodbridge, VA, under the pastorate of Reverend Clyde W. Ellis, Jr., where he serves as Men of Valor Ministry Lead Coordinator. One of his favorite Scriptures references is recorded in John 3:16 and out of that passage, Reverend Johnson often states that God loved us enough to give the best heaven had to offer.

Reverend Johnson is married to Arnitta and they have three children, Lydia, Lexia and CJ.
